Our Origins: A Blend of Tradition and Innovation
Every transformation starts with a story, and ours begins with a cup of chai. In 2008, our founder, Gaurav Khandelwal, drew inspiration from his father’s craft as a tea blender in India. Gaurav watched his father tirelessly perfect the art of blending tea, creating harmony from seemingly simple ingredients. It was more than a drink—it was a labor of love, a pursuit of balance and precision.
This legacy shaped Gaurav’s vision. Just as a perfect cup of chai balances flavors to create something greater than the sum of its parts, Gaurav dreamed of blending technology and business to craft something transformative.
When the Apple AppStore launched in 2008, the opportunity was clear. Gaurav, along with his wife and brother, seized the moment, building ChaiOne as a company dedicated to delivering custom mobile solutions. For 15 years, we created technology that empowered some of the world’s most innovative brands. But even then, the seeds of something bigger were being planted.
